This precious 100% Merino “Gentile di Puglia” short yarn wool yarn is spun from sheep lovingly raised in the countryside of southern Italy. It has a slightly elastic and dry touch, and creates zero pilling making it ideal for all stitch work. It is also particularly suited to Fair-Isle stranded stitchwork and Nordic style colorful pullover sweaters and cardigans. This yarn and its worsted weight sister Vasto, are destined to become some of my favorite wools! Amazing stitch definition, warming wooly, amazing hand, and a great price, too!
