HiLo Temperature Cowl Kit
Temperature knits are so fun, and a great way to start the day - you do one row a day - using the colors of the temperatures for that day, and by the end of the year, you have a project that is delightfully colorful and random! I LOVE the HiLo Temp cowl - the corrugated rib represents both high and low temps for the day and looks stunning in the end.
The sample that you see here was made with out luscious (in short supply) hand-dyed Pagoda Sport (Merino/Bamboo blend). We're also dying amazing Rivulet (100% Superwash Merino) for when the Pagoda Sport runs out! It will be the same color set - but the Rivulet dyes a little more deeply. You can also use the selection of Katia United Sock. Each kit contains approximately the same yardage, though you get more of a variety of colors with the Pagoda Sport and Rivulet Kits (11 balls of United sock or 14 mini-skeins of Pagoda Sport or Rivulet). The kits includes the yarn you choose in the amounts above and a pattern download code.
The finished cowl is approxiamelty 7" x 53" - perfect for a snuggly double wrap. You'll need a Size 6, 16" needle for this project and a crochet hook for a provisional cast on.
