Fading Strands Hat Pattern

This pattern is a great introduction to stranded knitting. You don’t need charts, but can practice holding two yarns at the same time, with breaks of plain striped knitting in between.

Revamped to include adult small, medium, and large sizes!

If you have sensitive skin, go for the Amitola Grande as your stripey color….so soft!

50 g Noro Kureyon or Louisa Harding Amitola Grande– C1
50 g Ella Rae Classic Wool or Katia Cotton Merino- C2
Size 7 (4.5mm) Circular Needle 16” (40cm) or 24” (60cm)
Size 7 (4.5mm) DPN’s
Darning needle for weaving in ends
1 stitch marker

Finished size: Adult Small, Medium, Large (Circ – about 18”, 20”, 22” with no stretch)
