Good morning lovely knitters! I hope you all had a delightful Mother's Day! It looks like it might be a rainy, sleepy day ahead, which is the perfect excuse to come have a yarn fondle!
We have some great projects for spring and summer! First - since I haven't mentioned it in a few weeks, we are sill knitting baby sweaters for the Beth Israel NICU. You can see our original post here! We've already managed to send over 85+ little adorable sweaters! Can you make one? It is a great way to get your feet wet with sweater making (if you are nervous) and get a boatload of good karma too!
We're also all knitting Emotional Support Chickens! I might've finished my third this week. I'm trying to stop, really! If you want to make one (or some) just grab yourself some Noro (the Noro ones are the best, IMO) and leave "chicken" in the notes of your order and we'll send you the "chicken bits" for FREE - the little yellow and red that you need for the beak and the waddle. I must confess to all of you that I'm really tempted to make a Mad Chicken (or two since I'm pretty sure a Mad Ball would make 2). How hilarious and cute would that be??
We had a fun chicken filled podcast this week, too - did you get a chance to check it out?
Don't forget to check out our featured kit - Couscous! This is such a fun, and super addictive stitch pattern! It is possible that I'm working on something else with it now that I've gotten re-enamored! :)
I think that is all for today! I hope to see you!
