Good morning lovely knitters!  Well, despite our best wishful thinking, it seems like February is still February-ing all over us this weekend.  Blech!  But, as always, a snow day means some good knitting time!  I think I'm going to be finishing a couple of red hats that I started and then got derailed!  How about you?  We'll be open from 12-5 today, so pop in if you need red yarn (we still have a pretty good supply - tell your knitter friends if they need some!) - or some other gorgeous color to take a break with!

I really did TRY to manifest spring this week with this cheery, springy batch of Mad Balls!  So, if that is what you need filling up your eyes - come grab one!

I also came in to find a whole pile of finished red hats!  You guys are amazing!!  We've got them online for auction, so if you have non-knitters in your life - send them over to bid and support the Stand with Minnesota charities.  I think we were all hopeful that ICE was actually leaving Minnesota, but it seems like things are still quite dicey, so lets make sure they know we haven't forgotten them!  So far, we've been able to donate over $900 to 3 different charities - and one even had a match the day I did it - so bonus!

And just a head's up to those of you who are feeling the spring itch.  Though we haven't been doing destashing due to the crazy sicky last year that I had, we will start accepting destashing again, starting March 1st.  For those of you who don't know - you can bring in your unwanted yarn (no bugs, no scents please - those things can head to the trash!) and we'll weigh it and give you 250 stash cash points for every pound!  You can clean out the old and get some great discounts for something new!  Partial, unlabeled skeins are also fine.  Spring yarn clean out weekend?  Maybe you'll find some rogue red in that stash!
