Good morning lovely knitters! Thank you all so much for your healthy vibes you sent this week. I'm feeling pretty good, so they worked! But, I'm still testing positive, and I don't want any of you getting sick, so Kim will be back in today to help all of you! Kim has been the hero of the week, so if you pop in today - tell her how awesome she is because I can't give her a big thank you hug yet!
I did sneak in yesterday to get the NEW Mad Balls online! So pretty!
And in my sneak visit to the empty store, I dyed up some more Coconuts for Freedom kits, so make sure you grab one! I also got our super cute buttons!
You get one of these FREE with your Coconuts for Freedom kit, but Aja told me to list them...so I did!
I've heard something from so many people that I think a lot of us can relate to - almost terrified to be hopeful. And I feel the same way - the last 8 years have certainly done a number on all of us. Whenever we think a particular piece of the nightmare might be over - there's a new WORSE piece. But guess what - the tide always turns, and its time to turn it! Back in my younger days, I had the delight of seeing the Dalai Lama speak several times. One of the things that always stuck with me was that he says that hope is trait that makes us all human and unites us. (Though I feel like maybe he's never seen Chloe when you're holding a treat - there's definitely hope there!) Fear is the opposite of hope and we've been overwhelmed by fear for years - real fear, but also amplified fear from our insane news cycle. But its time to push back, and have all the hope that we can muster. There's a bright little glimmer in the future - let's amplify that instead!
I don't know if that was all too much, but that's what I've got today! I hope you all pop and tell Kim that she's amazing and grab some nommy yarn! There are boxes of new yarn getting stacked up in that store, but you'll have to stay tuned next week to find out what amazing new fun is in store!
