Good morning lovely knitters! I'm so happy to see this cooler morning and a nice day ahead! It seems like a great day to pop into the Maynard Farmer's Market (right across from the shop) and then come score some fresh new YARN! :)
Speaking of FRESH! We've been working on a NEW hand-dye (actually 4, but I'm only going to yammer about one today since the others need names and labels)!
Just LOOK at this!
That's NEW Island Yarn Kraken! It is a BEAUTIFUL and super soft worsted weight superwash. It dyes and knits like DREAM! Kraken isn't online yet, but it is worth coming in to scoop! It gives me all the happy knitter feels and I want to cast on about a million projects with it! It is 205 yards/100 gram skein and as with all of our hand-dyes, if you want to make a large project, you can special order as many as you need and we'll dye them up for you! For those of you who aren't local - it will be online soon - probably next week.
We also had NEW Mad Balls this week! This batch is a subtle, beachy, neutral batch - a little light on the sparkly yarn for those of you who aren't so into glitter. So pretty!
